Dream Pop? Singer / Songwriter? Shoegaze?

How about "Yes"?!

the greens and blues is a project by Eric Frederickson, who previously released three albums under his own name. His influences range far and wide, from dream-pop bands like The Sundays, Common Children, Day Wave and the innocence mission to alternative bands and singer/songwriters like Toad The Wet Sprocket, Pete Yorn, Parts and Labor and Death Cab for Cutie.

Born and raised near Detroit, and via a circuitous route through Columbus, Ohio, the Cleveland area and northern Chicagoland, Eric's brand of gritty, acoustic-based dream-pop eventually landed in South Metro Denver in 2010. While the outdoors and the elements have always been an influence on his music, exposure to the Colorado mountains and a different side of Creation has become an even greater factor in his life and music, and even led to the start of a 14ers podcast!

Eric also partners with his friend Zach Simpson to talk every 2 weeks about hiking in the Colorado Mountains!
